“Passion Pool” is a piece woven from my own childhood memories—those sun-drenched summer days spent diving into the cool, welcoming water of our family pool. The greens and earthy tones reflect the passionfruit vines that surrounded the pool, their fruit ripe, and waiting to be picked. I remember the joy of reaching for those sweet bursts of flavour, tasting summer itself in each bite. 

This painting holds that feeling for me—the mingling of water and sunlight, the scent of passionfruit in the air, and the sense of being young, free, and surrounded by the simple beauty of home.
